Many people hiking today and lots of soft snow. Wearing snowshoes will help pack down the trail. As noted in other reports to Lafayette on 2/18/2017, a beautiful, sunny day, light winds (except up on the summit and ridge). There is so much snow that along Agony Ridge there were times you really had to duck and crouch to get under branches...fun! We made new friends today: Caitlin and Vaida. |
