Comments
Comments: Drakes Brook Trail was fantastic, and the Jennings spur was pretty good as well. However, the SMT from Jennings to Sandwich was filled with nasty postholes from the guy in front of us. It was pretty easy to have a snowshoe get sucked into one of those things, and it was an easily avoidable problem. I can understand not realizing snowshoes would be necessary for this hike, but the trail was hardly packed out between the two peaks, and he should have turned around.
