Comments
Comments: Traction surprisingly great. Everyone in microspikes. No snowshoes needed. About an inch of stable snow on top of frozen pack or ice. Some bare ice, but easy to navigate around. A few postholers, but frozen and helped to give an edge up.
Wind brutal in alpine/cliff area, but nicely manageable in treeline. Face masks, hand warmers, and goggles were in plentiful use.
Tram cafe at top with hot chocolate and fireplace was welcome treat.
