Comments
Comments: Started in microspikes on Little River herd path. Decided to try Wild Bill Cronin's bushwhack to avoid all crossings. Bushwacked along the river until we arrived at a tributary that was too dangerous to cross. Turned around and figured we would see what the 3rd crossing on the North Twin Trail was like. Arrived to find two possible crossing options! Put on snowshoes part way up North Twin trail. Trail was smooth with no postholes! Snowshoes prevented sliding and televators were helpful. An inch or so of fresh snow on top of a firm base.

Stayed in snowshoes across the Twins to Galehead and back to the hut. Then switched to microspikes for the remainder of the hike. Pleasant hike on the trails today! Windy on South Twin, but sunny and amazing views! What an adventure!
