| Comments: |
frozen snow rail, a few steep ice flows between Elephant Head and Bugle Cliff Spur Trails where crampons would have been nice to have in the pack instead of staying warm at home. Blowing snow last 0.5 below summit quickly covered tracks. Ice and exposed rock on summit. Saw eight other hikers. Very windy on top, almost blow you over windy gust. Occasional buried postholes, not nearly as bad as some other trails recently. |
