| Dog-Related Notes: |
Your favorite Uncle (Walter) had a great day on the trail today. Cold & windy so the toes needed some attention in the snow but no major issue. Big Walt did not like the log over the brook so he found an alternate route. |

| Comments: |
Very cold start with a sunny & warmish finish. Good sun here & there -- nice & warm when we found it. Trails were nice and smooth all the way in and up to South Peak then across to North; some drifting and trail-finding between the peaks. Good lunch break at the view on North. The trail section down from North Peak to the Loop junction was uncomfortably postholed but all of the other trails were in good shape; just couldn't slide down from North since it was kinda lumpy. Awesome day on these two peaks! No one else out there today other than us three under the fine leadership of Uncle Walter. |
