Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: i parked on emerson road in stark at the start of beach hill road. beach hill road is not signed. currently it is open for snowmobiles. it appears at other times of year it is gated a short distance up from emerson. with current snow banks there was just enough room to get my car off emerson opposite the start of beach.

Comments
Comments: i walked up the snowmobile packed road which became more packed as other trails entered. i followed it to a road leaving left (north) just before a "junction ahead" sign. this road had seen travel by some sort of snowcat. i walked it a couple minutes to a clearing with a view to the percys and headed uphill towards the peak on another unused snowmo/atv trail. when this trail turned off course i continued bushwhacking up towards the summit crossing another unused trail or two running perpendicular along the way. the snow was consolidated with a light crust on top. i never sunk in more than a few inches. i hit the summit area south of the highpoint and walked a bit more south to a nice viewpoint to hutchins and cape horn. i then walked north a bit farther to the recognized highpoint. i followed my tracks back out.
