| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
i drove slate ledge road in littleton with a plan to park at the powerlines that run up to the walker ridge north of the summit. this turned out to be posted so i continued south on slate ledge road looking for an alternative. just past the lisbon town line i found a wide and snow free shoulder and parked there. i then walked back north on the road a couple minutes and ducked into the woods in a non posted area. there has to be better access somewhere owing to the numerous trails along the ridge including a pretty major snowmobile corridor. i had banked on the powerline access so did no other research. |

| Comments: |
i headed up on a line roughly northeast towards the summit. mostly logged woods and open going up to the ridge line where i joined a maintained trail of some type up to the western sub peak. i then bushwhacked east towards the highpoint soon crossing a substantial snowmobile trail. just before the summit i joined another maintained trail that runs over the highpoint. a small bump just west of the trail is probably the highest spot and is recognized with some familiar string. i dropped a bit east looking for a view given the steep contours, but found them to be mostly obstructed with one good look to the presidentials. i then followed my tracks back down. |
