| Comments: |
Ideal postholing conditions during the warmer temperatures. About 6-12 inches of snowpack that warms up during the day and the freezes solid at night, allowing for that Hollywood Walk of Fame preserved footstep look postholers strive for.
I wore snowshoes roundtrip on this minefield of postholes, as the snowpack is nowhere firm enough to allow for barebooting. Thank you for starting off my morning with turned ankles, barebooters! |
