Comments
Comments: Both trails were packed but a bit choppy from boot traffic. Minor ice bulges on the CRT. I wore spikes all day except for the whack, where I wore snowshoes, and that was fine. Great views from both summits as always, but I prefer the ledges and scenery of the north peak.

From the north peak, I bushwhacked north in an attempt to find the old AT corridor. Aside from a short, obvious stretch along the ridge, I could not find a discernible corridor, although I did find two cairns. I also found the old AT boundary blazes, which I followed down steeply for a few tenths. Not wanting to have a big climb back up, I didn't descend too far. From what I can tell by where the boundary blazes are, the location of the old trail appears to line up with the Caltopo map, following right along the 2800' contour just east of the summit, before running down the crest of the ridge.
