Perfect day above tree line. Views staggering. The Daks, VT ski areas, Franconia, Twins/Bonds, Presidentials, Lakes Region, and into Maine. Lots of people enjoying. Windy on summit. Trails well packed. I switched from spikes at the first view point to snowshoes because the trail was choppy. Snowshoes seemed easier descending as the snow got softer. But people in spikes were not postholing though with warm weather that may change. Snapper trail is also packed. |
