| Comments: |
Trails are a mix of bare ground, rotting snow and ice. Traction not required but care is needed along the southwestern side of the pond, where there is still a lot of snow / ice monorail. Where there is monorail, it's still fairly solid in spite of the warm temps. The rest of the route around the pond is mostly snow free.
I was here today to shoot some photos for LRCT. A neat area with views over to Mt. Long Stack, Rines Hill and Caverly Mountain. Still ice on the pond, but it will disappear quickly. |
