Comments
Comments: We started off in bare boots on a wet muddy trail until just before the first stream crossing after entering the WMNF. We put on spikes and made it most of the way to the ridge in spikes but switched to snowshoes as we bogged down in the soft snow. Beautiful day on the ridge and the peaks. Returned to car changing out traction as we descended.
