Comments
Comments: A bit of a disjointed loop as I wandered about the hill. Trails are snow-free and were wet and muddy from today's rain. I hiked the BT around the hill to the OT, which I took up to Mountain Vista and Gilfillan Rock. Then the YT up and over the summit. Where the northern end of YT meets the BT, I continued straight along a woods road (marked with a few green blazes and some flagging), descending to the unnamed pond northwest of the hill. Here there are remnants of an old dam and a small waterfall. I continued past the pond along a logging road, turning south on another logging road. This led to a large logged clearing below the Penacook Outlook, which I bushwhacked up to. From the outlook, I followed the BT back to the trailhead.
