Comments
Comments: BLT was very wet with patchy snow and ice up to just above the first boulder field. Above there the trail dried out some with very little snow/ice. Ledges were dry approaching the summit. The Brook Trail was extremely wet and muddy most of the way down. Water running down the trail most of the way. Mt Major Trail was wet in a few areas with some minor ice/snow. We were able to bare boot round trip without issue but some may want spikes in a few areas to help with the little bit of ice. Trails should be drying out nicely over the next few days. Very windy on the summit with nice views. The ice on the lake is dwindling fast.
