Comments
Comments: From parking lot to start was mixed bare ground and minor sheets of frozen snow. Up tp junction with Flume Slide Trail was an increasing mix of sheets of frozen snow and bare ground. From the junction to sharp left was long section of running water and finally solid snow. Snow level increased to two feet for most of steep part and as we approached tent site the snow pack went to more like 3 feet. The ridge was very deep. Junction signs were barely visible and several sections to Mt. Liberty were 4 to 5 feet. All will change rapidly. We used micros all the way up and back, but we had snow flurries all day and ridge section was very windy with flurries.
