I weigh 160lbs and I was just on the verge of putting snowshoes on. Never sank in but I would imagine if temps were even 5-10 degrees warmer I would have. Barebooted for the first 3/4 miles and then Hillsounds the rest of the way up. Snowshoes remained on my pack. TONS of mud, as you might expect while the 1-3 feet of remaining snow melts.
