Comments
Comments: Switched to spikes almost immediately on the way up, used them all the way to Little Haystack summit. The ridge was mostly bare - a few stretches of snow and ice, but was able to bareboot and rock hop all the way to Lafayette. Snow was looser on the way down, but spikes worked fine. Carried snowshoes but didn't need them.
