| Comments: |
The trail was probably 95% snow and ice free. There were a few small patches of snow and ice in the beginning, otherwise it was a mix of dry ground, wet ground, mud, and standing water. Traction of any kind was overkill, and probably still will be in the coming days, but be prepared to get at least a little wet.
This was a short hike at 2.5 mi roundtrip, but with 1,000 ft. of elevation gain, it was a good workout, and the view from the open summit was excellent. |
