| Water Crossing Notes: |
Several seasonal drainages and minor streams, all crossed on well constructed new footbridges. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is still in brand new condition and is in great shape with clear blazing and signage the whole way. One very short muddy spot could use a few more stepping stones, but this area is probably not an issue is summer. |

Sure. |
|
| Bugs: |
Not really. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
One winter glove stuck in a tree. I carried it out. |

An afternoon walk to check out the relatively new Swope Winant Connector Trail here in Concord, which provides a 1.6 mi. link between Winant Park and Swope Park (Jerry Hill). This is an excellently constructed trail with a smooth footbed over rolling terrain and through nice woods. Dry trail throughout with just a couple areas of minor mud. This is a great new link in a trail system that now stretches from Winant Park to Carter Hill. Shortly before reaching Swope Park, the trail passes through private property for a short stretch. Thank you to the landowners for allowing access! |
