Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We used the large lot on Rt 11 for Mt. Major. Plenty of room when we got there at around 9 am and although the trails were on Mt Major were a little busy there was still plenty of room in the lot when we returned around 4 pm.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Water Crossing Notes: None difficult.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Signage/blazing in the area of Old Stage Road kind of confusing or nonexistent. But we figured it out. A few minor blowdowns on some of the lesser used trails but we were able to clear them without too much trouble.

Dog-Related Notes:  
Bugs: Some black flies stirring at the parking lot but they aren't a problem yet.  
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I found a gray snow basket for a trekking pole on Precipice Path.  
Comments: A day of redlining in the Belknaps. Some patches of ice, but not a serious problem. Cliff Waterfall on Precipice Path was running well. A nice day out there with Lone Wolf and Camo Mike.
