The Red Hill Trail is 99.9% snow free and dry. One tiny, avoidable patch at the top. A few tiny patches in the woods near the summit. Did not see any wildflowers in bloom.
Squam Lake appeared to have some ice left in a few coves. No ice visible on Winnipesaukee.
If you want to hike in the northern Lakes Region without damaging the trails or dealing with snow, this is a great choice right now. |
