Comments
Comments: Beautiful day! Some wind but abundant sun negated it. Light traction on FW as it was stable monorail then entire way until Little Haystack. The ridge is almost entirely clear and what little there is is easily avoided. OBP was clear to the spruces and even then was easily negotiated with bare boots. From the hut it was a mixed bag. I bare booted but my wife wore light traction. There were lots of open areas and then more monorail so its mostly a comfort level. All the monorail was stable. by 2600 ft OBP is mostly clear and even light traction is probably overkill.
