Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A few,not difficult. I went about 20 feet upstream due to my short stride, no big deal.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Good! Excellent signage, RMC. Thanks.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Should be good for them. Remember, Cold Brook is the town's water supply, so no swimming and watch where they answer nature's call.

Comments
Comments: Great day for waterfalls. Only went as far as the Monaway and part of the Ladderback trails due to a commitment later in the day. Lower elevation is bare, some snow up above. Brought spikes, didn't use them. Postholed a little on the lesser used trails, but not enough snow to put on traction. If you like to bushwhack, I would bring snowshoes for the higher elevations.

Photo-op: Shoot from the Amphibrach side, so you avoid the dead tree on the Sylvan Way side.
