Comments
Comments: Snow is all melted or just a small ice monorail for first 1/2 mile. Just before main river crossing before the ski trail outlook, the snow appears and it's mostly all snow for the rest of the way until near the summit. There's still up to 2' of snow depth in some places. I didn't need traction on the way up - just followed the very narrow hard-pack strip in the middle of the trail. A couple sheer icy patches could be skirted. Take Sosman trail (left) from the junction to the summit; the end of the Tecumseh trail (right) is not packed down well and you will post-hole most of the way without snowshoes. I post-holed a few times on the way down - I would have liked to have snowshoes.
