Comments
Comments: Great traverse over Carr Mountain from Stinson Lake Rd to Clifford Brook Rd to puck up the Carr Mtn Trail. Meetup group. Trail conditions were varied, wet and muddy trail from Three Ponds Tr and on Carr Mtn Tr to about 2700', then snow with monorail to the top ~3500. Took snowshoes on and off about 4-5 times today. Got a little bit of a view from the stairs of old fire tower on the top. Interesting peak, with old fire tower foundations down a side path. Did not see anyone else all day. Hit snow for a bit just off the peak that was snowshoe use then pretty much postholing ans staying to side of the trail until about 2800'. Waternomee fall were roaring today, nice swimming hole at the base.
