| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The past two days I have raked and re-dug waterbars and ditches as far uphill as the bog relocation, about 0.8 miles. Above the well the mud deepened. We can hope for drier weather, but given the conditions and the forecast it would be good for the traiul to hike somewhere else for the next two weeks to lessen erosion. |

| Comments: |
As usual, ~70% of the "hikers were tourists in running shoes walking on the edge of the trail. Since we cannot close it for mud season, it can't dry fast enough, hence the urgency to restore the drains to help it dry out. |
