Comments
Comments: It was a beautiful day on the Kinsmans and only one other group on the Mt. Kinsman Trail. The lower half of the trail was dry. A little more than halfway up, we hit patchy monorail, and further up the trail it was mostly monorail and snow cover. A few postholes when we stepped off the monorail. The section of the Kinsman Ridge Trail between the junction and South Kinsman was mostly stable snow, with sections of bare rock. The temps were relatively cool, 30s and 40s, and it was cloudy, which probably kept the snow relatively stable.
