| Water Crossing Notes: |
After a good 20 minutes (at least!) of exploring and up and down for a good place to cross, I decided to turn around. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Good! Thank you. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw none. The section of the trail we did do would have been a treat for a water-loving dog. The upper section has ledges; maybe I'll see them some day! |

| Bugs: |
None. |

| Lost and Found: |
Nothing. |

Gorgeous trail! What made it beautiful also made it short. I had read in the WMG that the crossing could be difficult in high water, I thought we could find a place to cross. The brook parallels the trail on the way up; then we you cross, it is like a double crossing. The first part was a little hard, the next was impossible. I didn't even regret leaving my Tevas in the car, because the water was much too fast (and Prema said it was too cold for that as well). She would have liked to try it (that's what an inch or two more than Mom will do for you!), I was not comfortable with it. Don't let my experience dissuade you however, a man of average height came by and simply made his way across! |
