Ascended the access road up the ski area, which has been plowed. Only one short stretch that has snow. Upper portion has a lot of loose dirt due to a tracked vehicle going up it. Otherwise, generally dry surfaces. There are still quite a few patches of snow on the ski slopes, some of which will last into June, but none of which seem particularly worthwhile for skiing at this juncture.
Monorail starts immediately on the Sosman Trail and is vexing. It's narrow enough now that it's hard to get two feet on it, but sides still have unstable snow and plenty of postholes. Like this most of the way from the tower to past the summit split (Sosman is the clockwise ascent). Some bare ground in the sunny places, but still 3 to 4 feet of snow on the last portion before the summit. I barebooted, but others may prefer to have spikes. I would want spikes if descending the Mt. Tecumseh Trail.
I retraced my steps back to the ski area and partway down the access road, then ascended the access road to the new Green Peak trail complex. That access road was damp in places, but otherwise fine. The ski trails on Green Peak, which are in varying stages of completion, were pretty muddy and thus not great for descent. Nice Osceola views on Green Peak though.
