Started at 7:30 to beat the crowd. Centennial pool was cool to visit with the water flow. Had summit to myself for at least 45 minutes. Crawford notch is beautiful from that view. Saw a peregrine falcon fly over, nice to see that for a bonus. Trail was real easy, a lot of water in trail running but with good waterproof boots no issues. Went up to cascade loop to enjoy Beecher & pearl cascades. Surprised to have both cascades to myself. 4.6 mile round trip. Easy day but very satisfying. Did see a moose cross 302 just entering the notch on way to trailhead. ✌ðŸ»âœŒðŸ»âœŒðŸ» |
