Comments
Comments: A friend and I spent the afternoon wandering through Nottingcook Forest, along routes that don't go to Great Hill. No real plan here, just randomly jumping between trail, bushwhack and old roads. Conditions ranged from just damp to areas of mud and standing / running water. Steer Brook is very attractive and runs through a small gorge. A few limited views from points along the route. Lots of eastern newts out right now so please watch your step!
