Comments
Comments: Trail up to Crawford was snow free with some running water and mud but mostly dry. Trail over to the base of Stairs had lots of standing and running water in the trail, and about 60 percent snow, with stable and unstable mononrail. The climb up the steeps to Stairs had lots of snow patches, which made for a slippery climb and descent. The spur over to the lookout on Stairs was mostly still snow packed with stable and unstable monorail. Walking on all the unstable snow was a slow process. All in all a good workout on a nice day with "Bunky".
