And out and back along a section of the WEFT I hadn't yet been on. The first half of this route also coincides with snowmobile corridor 11. The second half is a foot path. Upon reaching the south end of the pond there is a gate, but no prohibitions, so I went around the gate to the shore. Lots of wildflowers along the trail, and nice views from Dimond Hill Farm to the east. Trail was mostly dry with some areas of mud on the snomo portion, and some soggy spots walking through the pasture at the farm. |
