Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the turn out on Belknap Mountain Road. Plenty of room but make sure the people who live there can get to their homes.

Water Crossing Notes: One on this trail. Really small and able to step over.

Trail Maintenance Notes: No significant issues.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Not a lot of water on the trail. Bring extra for dogs. Do tick checks! They are awful on this trail right now. Easy hike for most dogs.

Bugs: TICKS TICKS TICKS! Worse than any buzzing bug. Do checks on yourself and on the dog if you hike with one.

Comments: Beautiful day on Piper and Whiteface. Easy trails with a gradual gain. Trails are also relatively dry. First time in almost a year I've hiked two peaks in one day. A major accomplishment for me. Enjoyed this hike and always like the Belknap range.
