Comments
Comments: Bluebird skies today, way better than the clouds and occasional sprinkles of yesterday. Still cool, though. Steep up the ski trails, backcountry ski trail heading out toward Black Mountain was real nice and in good shape. Didn't have any real trouble on the bushwhack. The dense area just before the final climb onto the Scar Ridge summit had up to 18" of snow, but it's avoidable (we did better avoiding it on the way down). No issues with wet areas beyond that snow. Still no real defined herd path on this bushwhack, but it's good that way, right? We gots to have some challenge on our respective NE 100 quests.
