| Bugs: |
Some black flies in the lower elevations and some mosquitoes hatching higher up. Unfortunately, minutes after staring down a deer on the ski slopes, I picked up a tick. For the past 10 years, I could count the slopes as virtually tick free, but with more and more deer, that may no longer be the case. |

| Comments: |
Ski trails are almost completely snow free, except for a few patches in the terrain park and elsewhere. Grass not too high yet.
Some patchy monorail above 3,000 feet on the Mt. Tecumseh Trail. Small patch on Sosman just before the summit. Sosman out to ski area virtually snow free. |
