| Water Crossing Notes: |
At the second significant water crossing I almost got lost trying to refind the trail. There is a blowdown that looks like it is placed there to block the trail, and that is the way you want to go. A hiker on her way down helped me with that. |

Comet and Jill saw a dog named Nina today she seemed to be having a great time! Comet and Jill had a blast and enjoyed the cashews given to them by fellow hikers :) |

The trail is pretty dry except for the portion after the river, then it is easy going until you are about .2 miles to the top, there is a section that microspike would be helpful, as it is steep and not as easy to maneuver without them. (but if you bareboot you could probably make it to the top as well) Lots of pretty white flowers out along the trail today!
The hike was a medium grade and went by fast especially on the way down! The view was spectacular! Next time I will start my hike earlier so I can spend more time at the top! |
