Two day trip. Day 1 hiking to Stairs Mt campsites. Day 2 return to Rt 302 via Davis Path.Trail wet in places, low areas had mud, standing water.Three lovely tentsites on top of Stairs.One 8' patch of snow in sheltered area between Crawford and Stairs. No snow on Davis Path up Stairs or on spur trail to campsites. Great views! Two spacious campsites sheltered by trees, one smaller site with best view. No water available on Stairs. |
