| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Ravine Lodge Road is open all the way to the end now as they continue to build the new lodge. Most people parked at the "winter gate" and walked up (~0.8 miles) to the hiking trails while others ignored the "Authorized Vehiles Only" sign and parked up at the end of the road. |

Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
All big crossings have bridges and the small ones were easy to rock hop. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blow downs but nothing significant. Gorge Brook relatively dry while the Upper section of Carriage Trail below the junction with Glen Cliff Trail was wet and muddy. The middle section of Snapper Trail was also wet and muddy. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw lots of dogs out today. |

| Bugs: |
Lots of bugs along Ravine Lodge Road but then very few along the hiking trails. |

Nothing. |

| Comments: |
Did this one with Monica. Slept in, grabbed some breakfast at Peg's, then did a late morning start. Lots of cars when we got there. Lots of people too. All seemed to be enjoying themselves. Some were ignoring the "Stay of the Alpine Vegetation" signs. Nothing else to really report that's not mentioned above. |
