| Bugs: |
The bugs were HORRIBLE. Mosquitoes were swarming at the TH and either black flies or May flies were a huge nuisance throughout the rest of the hike. There was some relief towards the summit as the breeze picked up, but otherwise, it was somewhat miserable in this regard. We also found a tick in our car following our departure from the TH at the end of the day. We are not sure where it came from. |

| Comments: |
Some stretches of the rock slab were extremely slippery--even on the ascent. Take care to not step on wet parts of the rock and even the dry parts were slippery at times. Fortunately, there are lots of herd paths along the way so as to avoid most of the rock face. |
