from lost weekend road in cambridge, west of the peak, we drove a spur logging road to its end at a log landing. roads in this area from lake umbagog down to milan were in great shape. |

from the landing we went on a direct line to the summit through logged woods using old grown in skid roads much of the way. owing to it starting to rain the going was quite wet up to the recognized highpoint. we descended on much the same route. |
