| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Very crowded parking, had to park on the shoulder of Franconia Notch Pkwy, but then again, it was the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Volunteers where on hand from the forrest service to direct traffic and keep people safe. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One big blowdown about a mile up the Old Bridle Path. A huge Christmas tree (looked like one) was down across the trail requiring a small amount of bushwhacking to get around. Not too technical, but had to make sure not to get cut up by branches. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw lots of dogs on the trails. No issues/injuries. |
|
| Bugs: |
None. Very pleasant hike without them. |

| Comments: |
Started off around 10am and it was pretty wet in some spots on Old Bridle Path. Greenleaf trail between the hit & Lafayette summit was dry. Foggy & misting near the top then like magic, all of the cloud cover blew out and I had a clear afternoon. Old Bridle Path from the agonies all the way to the car dies out thankfully. |
