Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The crossings were more difficult than I anticipated. I found an easier crossing about 100 feet above where the trail comes to the brook. Coming down on Drakes Brook trail it was the same: easier further up the river.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: the few blowdowns were lying on the ground and were limbed so it is easy to step over.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: great trails for dogs. My two dogs met three others on the trail. There were some water puddles higher up so one needs not to carry water

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I found a nice water canteen. Tell me the color and I am glad to get it to you.

Comments
Comments: A great day to try other peaks than the 4 K's, which were probaly crowded today. Only a trace of snow and a little ice for about 100feet before the jct. with the Alongquin trail. Otherwise rather dry, well kept trails. Had great views from Sandwich Dome to Mt. Washington, the Sandwich peaks, and Franconia Ridge. No wind and the temps were in the 40s.
