| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
High water at the Lincoln Brook Trail crossings made them difficult. Most hikers waded across but we were able to stay dry by rock hopping and tight roping some rickety logs. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Deep mud on the Lincoln Woods Trail goes on, intermittently, for miles. Other than the mud and erosion, though, there were no maintenance issues. Owls Head Path was clear of blowdowns and the extension to the true summit was in pretty good shape. |

| Comments: |
Great, challenging hike with Chris. Always nice to have Owls Head done (21st time) but we'd both do it again. |
