Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in good shape but there were 3 blowdowns that were easy to get around. Spoke with the trail maintainer for part of the Moat Trail. He was repairing rock cairns between Middle Moat and Red Ridge Peak.

Bugs
Bugs: Lots of mosquitoes down in the woods and lots of black flies above treeline on the ridge. Used deet to keep them at bay but they were hungry and buzzing around.

Comments
Comments: A really nice day with temps from 50 to 85 with sunny sky and some clouds. The sun was really hot on the ridge. Saw 5 hikers and the trail maintainer. 360 degree views today and could see the snow on Mt. Washington.
