| Comments: |
This was rough going for me and Jay. The pounding rocks on descent beat us up. Was harder for me by a good stretch versus 2012, when I was a good bit fitter. I had forgotten how hard the middle third of the climb was - statistics rival Ammo and Beaver Brook for the 0.6 from White Cross split to top of Chute.

Views were about 40 miles. Kearsarge was the limit northward, with further peaks occasionally blinking into view. Higher Greens tried to emerge from haze, faintly, never saw Greylock. Wachusett was limit southward. |
