Comments
Comments: This is a nice trail, built like they used to make trails---on the bank right up close to the river! I parked at Pleasant Valley and trotted down and back up. Super nice with a few good swimming/dunking opportunities in the Saco that I am going to remember to visit sometime. There is information at the kiosk about making a two mile loop using Saco River Trail for the return but since the Saco River trail goes no where near the river I chose to go out and back. There is a picnic table on the trail a tenth or two below Pleasant Valley Wayside. I enjoyed it. I didn't see anyone on the trail but a couple from Florida was having a picnic at Pleasant Valley Wayside when I returned.
