Comments
Comments: Picked an absolutely beautiful Wednesday to run a southern Presidential traverse. Trails mostly dry, with some wet areas in the usual spots, minimal mud. Ammo was the toughest climb of the day, but the terrain challenged all the way down the ridge. The drop off Webster is fun if you like technical rock/root hopping, hell, the whole thing is fun if you like technical rock hopping! Saw probably a dozen hikers on the trails, and a few more at the huts. Anyone that was out on the range that day was a big winner, a welcome escape from heat and bugs. Thanks to Nate for a good run in the alpine.
