| Comments: |
Anne Lloyd and Arlo helped me finish up the Ossipee-10 list on Bayle. Following the helpful directions at FranklinSites.com, we jumped on the skimobile trail behind the gate just up from the designated parking, stayed straight where two trails diverged right, followed an arrow to the right at the next junction, and then watched for the Bayle TH marked by two cairns on the left. Bayle Mountain Trail requires some care but is not too difficult to follow with occasional red blazes. The total hike is under three miles, is relatively steep higher up, and offers excellent views on top. |
